Halloween Outreach
Instead of gathering for one large Halloween event on Northway's campus, this year we're sending our Gospel Communities into their neighborhoods to host their own Halloween Outreach events!
Every Halloween, people of all ages, across neighborhoods, beliefs, and cultures, walk right up to our front doors, giving us a unique opportunity to meet and engage our neighbors. What an incredible chance to leverage a major cultural holiday so that the gospel can be shared across our entire city.
This is a great chance to invite lost friends you already have, engage neighbors you’ve never met before, build genuine relationships, and create space for bold gospel conversations.
We encourage each Gospel Community to bring its own creativity, ideas, and personal touch to make its outreach unique and engaging. To help support these efforts, Northway is providing a limited number of outreach supply kits. These kits will include basic resources for your event and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Interested in hosting a Halloween Outreach event? Here are your NEXT STEPS:
PRAY: As a Gospel Community, ask God to open doors for gospel conversations, begin praying for your lost friends and neighbors throughout October, and pray for the Spirit to give you boldness.
BRAINSTORM: Gather your Gospel Community and dream up a fun, creative way to engage your neighborhood on Halloween.
REGISTER: Sign up using the Register button and check out a supply kit to support your creative outreach event!
INVITE: Identify lost friends and neighbors you want to know Jesus, and personally invite them to your event ahead of time.
HAVE FUN: Do something your GC genuinely enjoys doing together, and invite your friends and neighbors to enjoy it with you!
FOLLOW UP: Continue inviting your new friends into your life and Gospel Community after Halloween so you can continue to share the gospel and disciple them in the way of Jesus.
