Advocacy Teams (or "A-Teams") exist to serve Northway's missionaries.

Each week at Northway we take communion as a family. That would not be possible without the communion prep team. Help us prepare for this sacred moment in our service by volunteering to help prepare the elements. Communion Prep Team volunteers are needed during the week or during services each week.

Northway Kids volunteers have the opportunity to model and teach the love of Jesus to the children of Northway Church. On Wednesday nights at Compass Kids, volunteers are needed to serve with kids ages 3 years old to 4th grade. We'll memorize a passage of Scripture through song and fun activities.

Being new to a church can mean that you have a lot of questions. Connection Central volunteers are eager to answer questions about Northway or Christianity as a whole!

In our Foster and Adopt Ministry (FAM), we exist to support foster and adoptive families through prayer, practical resources, & encouragement, cultivate fellowship among families, volunteers, & the broader church body, and train and educate families and individuals who are interested in fostering and adopting or desire to care for those who do.

For those who may have weekday availability, being a front desk volunteer is a great way to serve the staff of Northway. Join the office culture by serving at the front desk, receiving guests and performing minor administrative tasks. Front desk volunteers are needed for 3.5 hour shift once a week.

Gospel Communities are small groups within the Northway body intentionally focused on mutual growth in biblical discipleship, accountability, evangelistic outreach, and fellowship. Gospel Community Leaders foster and facilitate these values, modeling and encouraging their members toward Christ-likeness in faith and practice.

By joining the team, you will receive monthly updates to learn about what God is doing in our city and learn about opportunities to serve with our ministry partners.

Sometimes that looks like Bible lessons rooted in truth, and sometimes it looks like fun activities that point back to the hope we have in Jesus. Volunteers are needed at both morning services on the weekends, or on Wednesday nights at Compass Kids.

Northway Kids volunteers have the opportunity to model and teach the love of Jesus to the children of Northway Church. Sometimes that looks like Bible lessons rooted in truth, and sometimes it looks like fun activities that point back to the hope we have in Jesus. Volunteers are needed at both morning services on the weekends, or on Wednesday nights at Compass Kids.

Middle School and High School are some of the most formative years in anyone’s life. Our Northway Students volunteers desire to come alongside our students, discipling and encouraging them in their faith. There are opportunities to volunteer with Students on Sunday mornings during the 11:15 am service or on Wednesday nights at Formation.

The members of the Parking/Shuttles Team minister to our guests in the parking lot by joyfully directing them to an open parking spot or the shuttle lot when parking is full. Parking & Shuttle volunteers are needed at both morning services and are expected to serve once a month.

This team is perfect for those who love to pray for and with others. They will meet during a Sunday service, pray over prayer requests, and send handwritten notes to those they have prayed for!

Production volunteers have the opportunity to use their gifts and skills to help facilitate our worship services for the church to see and savor Jesus. There are multiple opportunities and venues throughout the week to serve in the production department: Worship Center, Northway Students, Northway Kids, Northway Training, etc. If you have experience in mixing live audio, running ProPresenter or programming lights and a desire to serve Northway Church, consider applying to be a production volunteer. 

Northway offers short-term mission trips locally, nationally, and globally. Trips vary by year.

Sign up to serve as a volunteer in one of Northway's Wednesday training classes! We need Bible Class & Gospel Care table leaders as well as Gospel Care mentors. Gospel Care volunteers must have taken both Gospel Care and The One-Anothers.

Our greeters are key to making Northway a warm and welcoming environment by opening doors, welcoming and ushering our guests each week. Greeting volunteers are needed at all three Sunday services and are expected to serve once a month.

Worship volunteers have the opportunity to use their gifts and skills to help lead our church family in worship to see and savor Jesus. There are multiple opportunities and venues throughout the week to serve in the worship department: Worship Center, Northway Students, Northway Kids, choir, etc. If you have experience in music and a desire to serve Northway Church, consider applying to be a worship volunteer.
