Matthew 6:5-18
In this message, Jesus will address the last of three areas of practical worship where we are prone to seek the applause of man: that of praying & fasting. In contrast to the glory-seeking practices of the Pharisees & Gentiles, Jesus will show us a better way to pray and fast: in secret, out of the desire for intimacy with God & dependence upon His Kingdom purposes.
