The Minister of Care assists in the development, implementation, and oversight of Northway Church’s care ministries. This role includes partnering in the leadership of Gospel Care, overseeing marriage ministries, providing biblical counseling, and leading care-focused training and equipping classes.


Essential Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Leading various care ministries alongside the Care Minister.

  • Provide strategic oversight for ministries serving married members.

  • Support and contribute to training and equipping efforts related to care.

  • Care for members through personal counseling and biblical guidance.

  • Attend weekly staff meetings for prayer and planning purposes.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • In agreement with Northway Church’s Statement of Faith and committed to exhibiting a consistent lifestyle.

  • Comprehensive understanding and profession of faith in the Gospel.

  • Faithful covenant member at Northway Church (or pursuit of membership upon hire).

  • Master’s degree or higher in theology, ministry, or biblical counseling. 

  • Certification in counseling by an organization of like faith and practice (i.e., CCEF, ABC, etc.) or progressing toward certification is preferred. 

  • Proficient experience in church-based care or private practice biblical counseling.

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to coach and develop leaders.

  • Skill in development and refining of ministries.


Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
Hours Per Week: 25 - 28 (PT) or 40 (FT)

The Jr. Art Director brings the mission, vision, and values of Northway to life through visual storytelling, branding, and design work. Working under the leadership and direction of the Creative Minister, the Jr. Art Director brings fresh creative thinking to all communications team projects by taking concepts from idea to final deliverable. 


Essential Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Serve as the primary hands-on creative producer for the Northway Creative team, executing the majority of day-to-day design and production work.

  • Design and create sermon series branding, social and digital content, print materials, signage, and campaign assets under the Creative Minister's direction.

  • Maintain brand consistency, visual excellence, and clarity across all creative deliverables.

  • Capture basic photography and video to support projects.

  • Attend weekly staff meetings for prayer and planning purposes.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • In agreement with Northway Church’s Statement of Faith and committed to exhibiting a consistent lifestyle.

  • Comprehensive understanding and profession of faith in the Gospel.

  • Faithful covenant member at Northway Church (or pursuit of membership upon hire).

  • Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field preferred.

  • Zero to two years of experience in graphic design, digital media, or creative communications.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) and familiarity with digital layout tools.

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a solid grasp of typography, layout, and visual branding.

  • Creative thinker and self-starter who thrives in a collaborative team environment.

The Communications Coordinator serves the ministries and people of Northway Church by executing effective communication strategies that support ministry goals. In this role, the Coordinator manages day-to-day communication channels while partnering with the Creative Minister to help shape the strategy for Northway’s communications, bringing both strong administrative skills and creative thinking to the position.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Implement communication strategies for Northway Ministries and events.

  • Evaluate and prioritize incoming communication requests from ministries and events.

  • Manage digital communication channels, including social media, YouTube, and email marketing.

  • Oversee and maintain northwaychurch.com, ensuring content remains current and accurate.

  • Serve as Northway’s primary liaison to the Rock (website/database) support agency.

  • Lead and coordinate communications team projects from inception to completion.

  • Monitor the communications budget to ensure alignment with organizational goals.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • In agreement with Northway Church’s Statement of Faith and committed to exhibiting a consistent lifestyle.

  • Comprehensive understanding and profession of faith in the Gospel.

  • Faithful covenant member at Northway Church (or pursuit of membership upon hire).

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field preferred.

  • 1–2 years of experience in communications, marketing, or related work.

  • Strong project management and administrative skills.

  • Experience with project management software (Monday, Notion, ClickUp, etc.) preferred, but not required.

  • Relational, adaptable, and skilled in communication and problem-solving.

The Facilities Assistant supports the facility needs of our ministries during Sunday services, midweek evenings, and weekdays as necessary. This role focuses on providing open/close support and facility host services for non-business-hour events. The ideal candidate shares our belief that the facility team is a critical part of ministry at Northway Church and has a genuine heart to serve our church family.


Essential Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Serves as facility host for Sunday services, midweek evenings, and after-hours events.

  • Executes building open and lock-up procedures when scheduled.

  • Handles custodial needs and room setups required by ministry teams.

  • Acts as the primary liaison with security providers when onsite.

  • Assists the Facilities Manager and Associate with maintenance, grounds, and facility projects.

  • Executes room setups, teardowns, and event hospitality.

  • Performs general maintenance and custodial tasks across the campus.

  • Attend weekly staff meetings for prayer and planning purposes as schedule permits. 

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • In agreement with Northway Church’s Statement of Faith and committed to exhibiting a consistent lifestyle.

  • Comprehensive understanding and profession of faith in the Gospel.

  • Faithful covenant member at Northway Church (or pursuit of membership upon hire).

  • Available to work a non-standard schedule centered on Sundays, midweek evenings, and after-hours church events.

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

  • High school diploma required; undergraduate degree preferred.

  • Has a hospitable, servant-hearted approach to welcoming staff, leaders, and guests.

  • Previous experience in facility operations, event hosting, or building support preferred.

  • Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable managing building security and lock-up routines independently and on time.

  • Able to handle physical demands, including regularly lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and moving heavy furniture or equipment.
